October 1 was the WorldWide Photowalk
Four fantastic folks came out and meandered around Columbia State Park with me. A couple of the folks I knew via social media, but had never met in person – so it was great to be able to put voices and personalities to the text – and the other two were completely new to me, and I was happy to add them to the photographers I follow online.
Columbia is always a fun place to walk around, and the October date (and late afternoon) meant the crowds were light. We were able to spend time and bowl, talk to Mike the Blacksmith about the history and hauntings, make a quick dash into Nelson’s Candy Kitchen and escape with only one piece of chocolate! If you’ve never had it the Hand dipped Maple Creams are one of the yummiest things on the planet!
