Happy Birthday PacMan!
October 2016 is the 36th Anniversary of PacMan’s arrival in the United States. Do you feel old now? I sure do! I couldn’t tell you how many quarters I fed the game at Pepi’s Pizza. It was so fun and addicting I can still conjure up the sound of him gobbling up the dots, getting an extra life, and nabbing a ghost. And the sad sound of him dying. 🙁
While I was happy when the Atari version came out – I didn’t have to beg my parents to take me to pizza all the time – the arcade game was still far more fun. And there was pizza!!!
