After co-hosting and attending several of Scott Kelby’s WorldWide Photowalks, this year I’m hosting my own!  It’ll be held Saturday October 1 from 3pm to 5:30pm in Columbia State Park.  We’ll meetup in front of the Fallon House Ice Cream Parlor and finish up in the same area.  If people are interested we can all meet up for dinner afterwards as well.  Please register ahead of time – for two reasons.  The contest is only open to those who register, and also I’ll be making name tags and goodies ahead of time.  I need to know who’s coming!

As usual there are prizes!  Each person who attends can enter 1 photo – it must have been shot during the walk (the Stories in Stone does not count).  There is more info about the contest on the Photowalk Website when you register.

While not part of this walk, I am sticking around for the Stories in Stone tour at the cemetery later that evening.  Space is limited and does cost $25 so if you’re interested book now.  (I’m NOT getting any kickbacks or anything for this, I just think it’ll be fun!)

Fall is a great time to visit Columbia – it’s not crazy hot and the main crush of summer tourists have gone home.  Did I mention we’ll be starting at an ice cream parlor, and going past one of the most delicious candy stores on the planet?  And the GOLD!?  Someone found a one pound nugget just a few miles from Columbia the other day!!

Photowalks are for all ages, all abilities and all cameras!  They are always a lot of fun and a great way to meet other photographers.
