My average high and low for today is 73/47F or 22/8C.

Today it’s a few degrees below freezing, I’ve had about 3″ of snow, and it’s still coming down. Tonight it’s supposed to clear up and get much colder. While I’m sure the wildlife and everything blooming and leafing out are not pleased, it is pretty. I’ve always liked when seasons collide – especially winter/spring and fall/winter. In fact as I type this a very angry looking squirrel covered in snow is scampering around my deck looking for birdseed. I’m sure he’ll be happy that temps will be back to normal by the end of the week.

My cherry tree out front was in nearly full bloom and covered in happy bees yesterday – today…not so much. But it’s still beautiful.
